- I've tried both Andrew Chernov's and Bruce Evans' patches for the
- 'happy new year' problem where the date was repeated - i.e., on
- Jan 1 93, 386bsd reports the date as 12/31/92.

- I don't experience the problem as such. On my 386bsd, I get two
- Jan 1 dates - on Jan 2 (today), 386bsd reports the date as Jan 1.

- Bruce says it might be because of timezone differences, nevertheless,
- I've tried both patches, and neither works for me. With the patch
- installed (doesn't matter which one), the date returned is 'Mon Jan 6';
- clearly incorrect.
