- I'm trying to get 386BSD working on an IBM PS/2 Model 40 SX. Before I
- get half a dozen letters, this machine _does_ have an AT bus, not that
- MicroChannel thing. Anyway, it's a 386SX 16 Mhz with 6 megs of
- RAM, a 3.5" floppy, and a 80 meg IDE disk.
-
- I got myself a copy of the boot floppy (agate:/pub/386BSD/386bsd-0.1/bootables)
- and booted. The boot banner appeared, and it found the com port
- display, and floppy drive, but not the hard drive. It got to the
- # prompt, and then locked up real good. ctl-alt-del didn't work;
- had to reboot.
-
- Anyway, help would be appreciated.
