- Because the SS24 uses a programmable clock synth, these values will not always
- be the same. They will be set to whatever the last DOS graphics program
- set them too (but they get reset on a cold boot). Some people use
- the SS24 with XFree86 by first booting DOS and running a graphics program
- to set the clock, then booting Unix.

- To find out why the server is failing, take a look at xdm's error file
- /usr/X386/lib/X11/xdm/xdm-errors. In this case it's probably
- because of mode/clock mismatches. You should initially leave out the
- Clocks line in Xconfig, and look at the error log to see what clocks
- the server detects.
