  18. currently doing it also, as matter of fact i'll have a built kernel
  19. by tonight i think (i'm doing this at home on my free time).  It
  20. is pretty straight forward, mbuf's are the most significant difference
  21. between 4.3 and net2 that i can see (as far as compilation goes), this 
  22. only shows up in a couple files.

  24. Unfortunantly, all i have to test with is the loopback until i can 
  25. convince someone at work to let me use a 386, or can scrounge up a
  26. second machine for home.  Oh well, it's not as bad as writting 
  27. X apps on a vt100 8-).

  29. I have done this with out first speaking up in this group because
  30. this is my first attempt at doing anything *serious* in the kernel
  31. networking code, therefore would be inferior to what should be
  32. expected, until i had a chance to see if it actually worked.

  36. BTW - i would be glad to hear/read about the differences between 4.3 
  37. networking and net2, other than a few structure changes, etc.
