- Subject: Keyboard dies in initial install
- Summary:
- Followup-To:
- Distribution: world

-
- I was attempting to install BSD/386 v 0.9.4 on a generic 386/33 clone,
- IDE 100 MB, 8MB no co-processor system. After booting BOOT1, I am unable
- to respond to the "Root device?" prompt. The entire system is locked up,
- the keyboard is dead, the Ctrl-Alt-Del key in ineffective and I have no
- choice but to re-boot via reset/power switch.
-
- If you have experienced this and cured it, please drop me an E-mail note
- since we are mostly going to be closed for over a week and my new feeder
- will expire any news replies before I return.
-
- Thanks for your attention to my problem.
