- I had this problem too (I also have the gateway). The problem seemed to go away
- when I truned off the primary cache. I can't explain it. Furthermore,
- yesterday I turned it back on (with a patched kernel) and had no problems.

- Give it a try. BTW, if you know any way of changing the cmos config w/o
- booting dos, let me know via Email.
