  12. I have two-partitions (MS-DOS 5.0 and BSD) and I have problems
  13. with exchange of files between these two partitions. Therefore
  14.  
  15. Three questions:

  17. 1. Is there a MS-DOS program to read files on BSD partition.
  18. (i.e. to understand unix file structure)
  19. 2. Where can I find some documentation for mtools. There are no manual
  20.    pages!
  21. 3. the command 
  22.      mread "c:autoexec.bat"  (just for example)
  23.   failed with message
  24.   c: probable not MS-DOS partition.
  25.   (I used standard fdisk from MS-DOS distribution.)
  26.  
  27. BTW. Why file whatis.db is absent. It would be very usefull
  28. to have -k switch in man.
