  12. I am trying to build a new kernel using the code in the src01 distribution
  13. the only change was that I added the files for the DEPCA driver
  14. I have not added the patchkit or anything else. after executing
  15. config, make depend, I execute make and all goes well until it says
  16. "loading 386bsd"
  17. "init_main.o: something about an unreferenced symbol _version"
  18. is there a standard fix for this?
