  14. I have a MacII with FDHD roms + 40 MHZ Daystar + 20 MB of memory.

  16. I have set up uucp for outgoing stuff and can uuto the machine I
  17. manage. If I am in X, and attempt to "cu" to the same machine, the
  18. modem will not even take the phone off hook and I get a caller
  19. script failed type error. (In fact the MR ready light on the T2500
  20. light flickers on and off while the script attempts to execute.)
  21. I am using the "telebit" dialer in the Dialers file.

  23. If I "stty istrip" prior to the "cu" command everything works
  24. as expected and I can connect just fine.

  26. I am using BNU 1.16.

  28. Anyone have an explaination for such devious behavior?
