- Has anyone else encountered problems with a 1.0G Macinstor Third Party Drive
- in a Quadra 950, running A/UX 3.0?
-
- A/UX 3.0 installs with no problem, but when you go to launch A/UX, it replies
- with "panic: no root file system".
-
- I contacted APPLE A/UX support and they told me that yes, there was a
- problem if the drive is a DEC DSP3105S. Sure enough, that is what it is.
-
- Unfortunately, there does not appear to be great demand to have A/UX
- engineering work on this problem.
