- I'm running Amiga UNIX 2.1 on a system which is quite heavily loaded
- with a number of users. I have continuous problems with the machine
- getting confused between users. For instance "whoami" might show "zik"
- but "logname" tells me "brumby", which is patently untrue.
-
- Occasionally it also completely forgets about some users, giving them
- no entry in "finger" but modem activity and a look at the devices
- shows me who is really logged on.
-
- It's a real pain when you get a talk request from someone and when you
- respond they get your talk request as if it came from someone else.
-
- Does anyone have a solution to these problems?
