  11. I'm running Amiga UNIX 2.1 on a system which is quite heavily loaded
  12. with a number of users. I have continuous problems with the machine
  13. getting confused between users. For instance "whoami" might show "zik"
  14. but "logname" tells me "brumby", which is patently untrue.

  16. Occasionally it also completely forgets about some users, giving them
  17. no entry in "finger" but modem activity and a look at the devices
  18. shows me who is really logged on.
  19.  
  20. It's a real pain when you get a talk request from someone and when you
  21. respond they get your talk request as if it came from someone else.
  22.  
  23. Does anyone have a solution to these problems?
