  11. We are about to install several 2GB SCSI disks each on a couple of our
  12. 580's. They are external connections, the first cable will be 8' and then
  13. there will be two 2.5' daisy-chain cables between disks, for a total bus
  14. length around 14 feet (allowing for some internal distance). Are we likely
  15. to run into problems with this configuration because of total length, or
  16. because of the unusually long first cable (we have to go through a wall
  17. into the machine room)?
