- We are about to install several 2GB SCSI disks each on a couple of our
- 580's. They are external connections, the first cable will be 8' and then
- there will be two 2.5' daisy-chain cables between disks, for a total bus
- length around 14 feet (allowing for some internal distance). Are we likely
- to run into problems with this configuration because of total length, or
- because of the unusually long first cable (we have to go through a wall
- into the machine room)?
-
- Thanks!
