- We recently upgraded the memory in our RS/6000 and decided that we would
- put the old memory into one of our X-stations to speed it up and
- have it crash less often. IBM said that the X-station wouldn't be able
- to use any of the memory from the RS/6000. When we put it in, it would
- only recognize the first 1.5 megs of memory, and it would have errors
- reading past that first 1.5 megs. Anybody have any suggestions on
- how to get it to recognize more of the memory? I wasn't actually
- involved in the installation, but if anyone who can help me
- needs more details, I can find out those details for you. Thanks in
- advance.
