  14. Using AIX 3.2.3,  "lslv rootvg"  command gives follwoing error.

  16.    0516-310 lslv: Unable to find attribute lock in the Device
  17.             Configuration Database. Execute varyoffvg followed by varyonvg
  18.             with -m1 option to attempt to correct the LV database.
  19.  
  20. This happened after I had to delete and recreate the /home filesystem.

  22. a) Is my LV database really corrupt?  If so, how can I correct it?
  23.    How risky is it to use the system without immediately correcting it?

  25. b) How can I varyoff rootvg ?  Do I use the mksysb tape / bosboot disk ?
