- tar -r does not work for streaming tape devices, or so
- the IBM no-man pages claim. I could swear that I have seen
- some versions of tar adding to 8mm tar files. I have a DAT
- tape (a horror story in itself, but the brief word is: IT SHOULD
- WORK!) and would hate to issue 'tctl fsf 137' to archive pieces
- of data in the 100M range. Any suggestions?
