- I have an IBM clone 386/20 running AT&T Unix 5.3.2. The box has 160 MG
- unix partition on the ESDI disk and a WD controller. Things work
- okay until I do a heavy cpio (such as installing a network software
- or copying a 10 mg dir tree), when the system halts with the message:
-
- System Error: Controller Stays Busy
- Panic: dumping 1952 pages
-
- Can any one provide me a pointer as to what might be cooking?
-
- Many thanks in advance,
- - Sam (shm@syl.nj.nec.com)
