- Hi and happy holidays all.
-
- Has anyone had any problems setting up diskless clients? Am I
- missing something?
-
- What I've done is run add_client for an IPC client running
- off an IPX server. I run it interactively, and have had
- to set up the root and swap locations in a non-standard
- position (ie not in /export/root and /export/swap). When
- I finish using the setup it prints stuff to the screen,
- and then says that "path-to-client"/root/dev does not exist
- and a cd to this directory fails. At which point it halts.
-
- Now, the only way "path-to-client"/root/dev is going to
- exist is for the add_client routine to set it up, so I
- don't understand the error.
-
- If you have seen this, let me know. I'll be reading the
- news group when I am in over the holidays, but it would
- be safer to e-mail me directly. Thanks.
