  13. We are having trouble getting MetaFont to do anything useful on our
  14. CDC 4680.  I'm using the TeX3.14 distribution and give the following
  15. command

  19. On a Sun4 machine it works just fine, but on the CDC/MIPS box
  20. (compiled from the same source, sharing the same INPUTS area) I get
  21. the following (unbounded black) error

  39. I have no idea where to start looking for this problem, but I'm pretty
  40. sure that this isn't really a capacity problem.  I'd be grateful for
  41. any advice.  Does anyone else have MF working on a MIPS (RISC/OS) or
  42. CDC (EP/IX) machine?
