- Hi,
- I wish to use an additional section level, but **don't want it to
- affect the table of contents**. I have tried deepsection.sty and it fails
- on this measure. (It seems to do some strange stuff to the toc.)
- I want my levels to be
-
- I. section 1
- II. section 2
- A. subsection 1
- B. subsection 2
- 1. subsubsection 1
- 2. subsubsection 1
-
- This I have already. But now I want \paragraph{nextleveldown} to produce
- 1.1 nextleveldown
- etc. but not to appear in the toc. How can this additional counter be
- created? I have looked at deepsection.sty and have no idea why it messes
- up the toc.
-
- I have even tried to \setcounter{tocdepth}{3}
- but that didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
