  12. How do I include a \ref in a \caption?  I have used \protect to no avail,
  13. like so:

  18. \end{verbatim}
  19. \caption{\label{cap} See \protect Figure \ref{fig} \protect.}
  20. \end{figure}

  22. I have tried putting the \protect in various places, but that doesn't
  23. help at all.  Any insights?
