- Hi, netters:
-
- I need any suggestion about positioning a MAC PS file in Latex with
- espf.sty and dvips driver!
-
- It would be nice to know how an included MAC PS file could be
- positioned as wished. Otherwise, any response to the following questions
- is also appreciated:
-
- 1. What is the appropriate Bounding Box for a Mac PS file, say from
- MS-Word and MacDraw?
-
- I have some one-page files which cover almost a 11x8.5 paper, but
- could not give [0 0 612 792] without reducing the size by using
- commands, such as \epsfxsize or \epsfysize, since it gave me a
- Latex Warning about "float larger than \texheight or \texwidth...",
- under figure environment.
-
- 2. How to center the Mac PS file?
-
- Even if I could use the above bounding box with \epsfxsize=, say
- 216pt, the diagram is not centered, with or without \leavevmode
- command suggested in epsf.sty file.
-
- It is especially obvious when I have the \caption in the figure
- environment!
-
- 3. How to include an 8x11.5 Mac PS file with the top-to-bottom look?
-
- One of the Macdraw files I have is reversed printout, i.e. the printout
- is rotated 90 degrees to the right so that it become 8.5x11. However,
- when I included this file with reduced size in latex, it still printed
- out reversely so that I have to rotate the printout (11x8.5) to the right
- 90 degrees to see the diagram.
-
- It is in conflict with the caption in the figure environment.
-
- Thanks!
