  29. You didn't by any chance copy the first Figure paragraph *after* you made a  
  30. cross-reference to it, did you? If so (feel the guilt :>), all copies of the  
  31. paragraph will contain the identical xref source marker - ie, you would have a  
  32. whole lot of paragraphs with xref marker id 34584 or whatever. This would  
  33. definitely drive your update process crazy.

  35. To fix this, you would need to search for Markers of Type xref, and remove them all  
  36. from your Figure paragraphs - then replace each of your cross-references to those  
  37. paragraphs individually.

  39. If you did not make a cross-reference to the original Figure paragraph before you  
  40. updated it, then it sounds like a bug.
