- You didn't by any chance copy the first Figure paragraph *after* you made a
- cross-reference to it, did you? If so (feel the guilt :>), all copies of the
- paragraph will contain the identical xref source marker - ie, you would have a
- whole lot of paragraphs with xref marker id 34584 or whatever. This would
- definitely drive your update process crazy.

- To fix this, you would need to search for Markers of Type xref, and remove them all
- from your Figure paragraphs - then replace each of your cross-references to those
- paragraphs individually.

- If you did not make a cross-reference to the original Figure paragraph before you
- updated it, then it sounds like a bug.
