-
- Who wins the battle?
- Is it the book that controls the numbering or is it the individual
- chapters.
-
- I don't know but when I have run into this problem before, I ensure
- that the para numbering is set to "Continue" for each chapter in
- the book file and that each document has para numbering set to
- "Continue" also.
-
- I think that FrameMaker is built so that there are some book overrides
- but not all are consistent. Maybe, if this works for you, we
- will have some of the answer.
-
- PS You dont need the < => in the Chapter auto number. The TableCaption
- and FigureCaption numbers should reset to zero when you start a new
- chapter,
- by default)
- (Thanks to davidl@SSD.intel.com for his comment to
- my last posting about autonumbering. Note that you can leave them in, so
- you or your peers can see what is going on in the file in three years time
- when there is a problem with the template!!!)
