- I have a bunch of questions about Medley that I had been meaning to
- ask...
-
- - Is Medley 2.1 for Sun shipping yet?
-
- CAPS LOCK
-
- - Does the Caps Lock key now work with OpenWindows on the Sun?
-
- - Is the VIRTUALKEYBOARDS that doesn't clobber the Caps Lock key
- shipping with 2.1?
-
- PRINTING
-
- - I noticed that printing the "Hardcopy listing of directory" from
- FILEBROWSER to a PostScript printer doesn't work correctly. The
- top edge and left edge appears to be cut off the printout. Has
- this been fixed?
-
- - Many _quotation marks_ do not seem to print "correctly" on PostScript
- Printers (From TEdit using CLASSIC fonts via POSTSCRIPTSTREAM):
-
- - The single quote (CHARCODE 39 decimal) appears straight up-down on
- Interpress printers and on the screen. It looks like a single
- "right" quote on PostScript printers.
-
- - The single right quote (CHARCODE 185) appears that way on the screen
- and Interpress, but prints as "quotedblbase" in PostScript.
-
- - The double right quote (CHARCODE 8557) prints as an "m" on PostScript.
-
- - Using the CLASSIC font, the vertical bar (CHARCODE 124) seems to be
- "extra-wide" (extra blank space on either side) when printed on
- PostScript.
-
- - [To John Sybalsky:] Has the diacritics accent support in POSTSCRIPTSTREAM
- been completed?
-
- SERVING FILES TO 1108s FROM SUNS
-
- - Using Medley 1.1 on 1108, TCP/IP communication with UNIX file servers
- on the Sun doesn't work too well. (FileBrowser doesn't work with
- wildcards, TEdit GETs do not work- somehow finding the file
- "corrupt".) Is there anything that can allow 1108s to work with UNIX
- file servers?
-
- Many thanks and Merry Christmas to all.
