- I am in the process of doing a complete run through of MyBASIC 3.00 for
- the Myarc Geneve 9640. I written many test programs (I was one of the
- original beta-testers) for this language. If you have any programs you
- would liked tested please put them on comp.sys.ti as an ascii file. It
- can them be loaded into memory as a program ( a neat feature ). I want
- to report any bugs back to Berry Miller asap.
-
- Also, Steve Clarke has written a basic program that will convert all of
- the sound routines in BASIC to an assembly sub-routine and Barry Traver
- has written a basic program that will convert all graphic routines in
- BASIC to an assembly sub-routine. They are both willing to give away
- their programs with it's source code to anyone or group of people who
- would like to continue the work and complete a BASIC COMPILER. With most
- of the graphics and all of the sound work done, the 9640 has the memory
- space to run a BASIC COMPILER! Is anyone out there willing to join this
- project and add the necessary program to convert the I/O to assembly
- from a basic program? 75% of the work is already done, these guys just
- don't feel that they have the coding ability to take it to the next
- step.
-
- The RAMBO modification might be able to do it on the 4/A too!!!
