- Robert, We have an agreement with Al Beard to port his FULL C for the Geneve
- over to the 4a Memex. I am not full up on the implementation of his C so
- I cannot answer a whole lot of questions about it, maybe someone else?
- It is my understanding though that it does all memory managing for you
- matically, and if you have a 9938 and source to Geneve programs, you should be'
- able to re-compile them to run on the 4a. There will also be memory libraries
- for LGMA Fortran to make it compatible with the Geneve memory calls, and
- therefore you should be able to do the same.

-
- That is unkown at this time, we will have a developers/software manual availble
- that will show how to access memory from it in assembler, but I'd like to see
- a full assembler for it myself. We are looking into the possiblity.

- The DSR (basic setup, initialization, memory manage) is being written by Jeff
- White, the C and Fortran by Al Beard, and the hardware designed by myself and
- Jeff White. I am currently finalizing revision 3 of the board, because of a
- discontinued part last year, I had to re-design it, and now I'm jut finishing
- up the second re-design (making it a lower cost/higher performace board). I
- would guess that we will be starting a production run in the next couple of
- weeks, with production units assembled and ready to go by Fest West, but
- the DSR may not be done (most likely wont) by then. But, MDOS may be modified
- in that time frame to allow useage of the 4a memex on the Geneve as a memory
- expansion card, that job is being done by Beery Miller.

-
- It does not _use_ per say RAMBO memory, but it can emulate it, or expand the
- map of RAMBO memory beyond any setup on an HRD. We are not affiliated with OPA
- and all our RAMBO efforts are co-ordinated with BMS. I hope you will enjoy
- using the card for your programming.
