- SCSI 1. v2 provides for higher data transfer rates over a wider bus
- and other tricks that elude me at the moment. It used to be v1 was
- faster than most computers, but that's not true anymore. v1 should

- Computers have caught up with fast scsi 1 devices, and now there's a need
- for *faster* scsi transfer. Hence the new standard.
