- I recently bought a 2400-baud modem for my 6000. When I use a term program
- to dial out, I can successfully use 2400 baud. When I try to use the 'cu'
- program, the modem always runs at 1200. I investigated somewhat and found
- the following:
-
- In the System Administrator's Guide to Xenix, 2nd Edition, in the section
- on cu, it says that "...the possible baud rates are 100, 150, 300, 1200,
- 2400, 4800, 9600", while in the cu section of the User's Guide it says that
- "the possible baud rates are: 300, 1200, 9600".
-
- In the /dev directory, there are files like cua0, cua0.1200 and cua0.300.
- There are no files with 2400 or 9600 in them.
-
- Am I going to have to create a device, cua0.2400? If so, do you have
- information on how to accomplish this? Or is the problem elsewhere?
