  17. TRSDOS can already handle these specs, add the parameter of SIDES=2 to 
  18. the format command (ex.  FORMAT :1 (NAME="DATADISK",DDEN,SIDES=2)   )
  19. As for the step rate, that can be altered using the command of:
  20. SYSTEM (BSTEP=n)         where 0=6msec
  21.                                1=12msec
  22.                                2=20msec
  23.                                3=30msec

  25. I do suggest, however, that you snag the latest version of LSDOS 6.3.1 as 
  26. it will handle the correct dates, and has the latest SVC commands that 
  27. the
  28. older DOS's lack (which is probably what you have), thus several programs 
  29. may not work on your computer even though they are written for the Model 
  30. 4.
