  17. Yup.  The 3B2 was the original "porting base" for SVR4 (so much for the
  18. claims that SVR4 would favor SPARC), although I think they've switched
  19. to PeeCees subsequently.

  21. (As such, I'd be willing to be that a 3B2 in Summit, New Jersey, running
  22. SVR4, supported "mmap()" before any machines in Berkeley, California,
  23. running BSD, did. :-))

  25. I think Pyramid's MIPS-based machines use SVR4 as well.
