  12. I am considering the purchase of a Sparcstation LX, which as we all
  13. know, only runs Solaris 2.1 (ie no 4.1.x).  The major application
  14. for this machine relies heavily on mmap() (and to a lesser extent,
  15. mlock()).  Not having any documentation on Solaris, I am completely
  16. in the dark about what system calls are available.  Thus the following
  17. questions:
  18. 1.  Are mmap() and mlock() available?
  19.  
  20. 2.  Did Sun fix the bug/feature (at least in 4.1.1b) that limited
  21.     the amount of memory which could be mlock()-ed?
  22.  
  23. 3.  Any substantial change in the tty driver? (in particular the termios
  24.     struct and ioctl() calls)
  25.  
  26.
