- I will be having a SPARCstation ELC moved by a moving company from CA to
- NY. When I purchased the machine the CPU board and the monitor were shipped
- to me separately. I would like to know whether it is necessary/advisable
- to remove the CPU board before shipping it again to my new residence.
-
- I called Sun at 1-800-USA-4SUN but they refused to answer my question
- because I do not have a service contract or an extended warranty! Is there
- any other number that I can call to get free advice on this matter?
- This is my personal machine, not used for business purposes, and I cannot
- afford a warranty/service contract.
-
- I would appreciate getting a response as soon as possible.
-
- Thank you,
