- Greetings:
-
- Could anyone point me to find papers, journals or documents that
- are concerning to Sun's XDBus (XBus + Dynabus ?)?
- I recall about one year ago, there was an article in EE Times (?)
- which adverted that the Xerox's Dynabus is similar to IEEE Futurebus+
- but with different assignment of control & status registers.
- Since then, it seems no much advanced info about Dynabus can be afforded
- until recently that Sun SPARCcenter 2000 release news mentioned that
- the XDbus is adopted in the system.
-
- Meanwhile, it is reported that maximun 32 proceossors can be pluged
- into the Furturebus+ backplane. Should this imply that the XDbus being
- restricted by the same limitation?
-
- Please forward your direction to me directly.
-
- Thanks,
-
