  14. I am interested in implementing a filter for controlling the flow
  15. of certain tcpip packets based on source/destination, protocol and
  16. possibly process/user of origin.

  18. I gather from peeking at tcpdump that there is such a thing as the
  19. "Berkeley Packet Filter" mechanism that can be implemented in SunOS 4.1x
  20. if one has a source license which I don't :(

  22. Is there anyone who has done this that could let me have the object
  23. of the appropriately modified modules ?

  25. I am presupposing of course that BPF will be of some use to me, in the
  26. sense that it will allow me to selectively filter packets, rather than
  27. just peek at them !
