- I am interested in implementing a filter for controlling the flow
- of certain tcpip packets based on source/destination, protocol and
- possibly process/user of origin.
-
- I gather from peeking at tcpdump that there is such a thing as the
- "Berkeley Packet Filter" mechanism that can be implemented in SunOS 4.1x
- if one has a source license which I don't :(
-
- Is there anyone who has done this that could let me have the object
- of the appropriately modified modules ?
-
- I am presupposing of course that BPF will be of some use to me, in the
- sense that it will allow me to selectively filter packets, rather than
- just peek at them !
-
- Thanks ... david
