- Same here, first with a MultiTech V.32, now with a WorldBlazer.

- This is not surprising, though. Sun's standard uucp uses 64 byte packets,
- and only 3 can be outstanding at any time. This is well within the buffer
- size of the usual fast modems.

- Try running zmodem with it's capability to send much more data without
- waiting for an ACK, or just cat a large file. You will be surprised!
