  28. That would indicate that you have /etc/resolv.conf set up correctly on
  29. the NIS servers.

  33. You can check that NIS is doing DNS lookups by trying something
  34. like ``ypmatch uunet.uu.net hosts'', where uunet.uu.net should not
  35. be in your hosts map.
