  14. Patches 100305-09 and 100696-01 seem to address the same issue (lpr
  15. security), and both provide replacements for /usr/ucb/lpr.  Neither
  16. patch mentions the other.  What's the story here?

  18. I haven't tried using both of them together somehow.  For one thing,
  19. "strings /usr/ucb/lpr" with 100305-09 shows /dev/lpd/printer, and the
  20. same thing with 100696-01 gives /dev/printer.  It would seem that the
  21. 100696-01 patch is a later version, but it does not include
  22. /usr/etc/lpc or /usr/lib/lpd; however, it does include /usr/ucb/lprm.
  23. Go figure.
