  13. Does anyone know of a hack to apply phigs to OpenWin, or to get X11R5
  14. and NeWs running on the same machine to run phigs/X and Sunview 
  15. applications simultaneously?

  17. I have an X application that makes phigs calls. I would like to find
  18. a way to run this application in OpenWindows, but I have been
  19. told that X11/NeWs does not include the phigs extensions. So 
  20. the OpenWindows X server has no access to phigs. I just get
  21. errors whenever phigs functions are called when running under
  22. OpenWindows. Under X11R5, the application runs fine.

  24. I want to be able to run X and Sunview applications on the same display;
  25. hence OpenWindows.

  27. I am in desperate need of a quick fix, if possible, as my only alternative
  28. for a upcoming demo is to restart the appropriate window system for each
  29. application in turn. This would really suck.

  31. I'd appreciate any and all suggestions, no matter how whacked-out they
  32. sound.
