- Has anyone running HelpDesk come across this error?
- After the installation completes and I try to run the Search Tool, I get
- "Search error - server timed out" at the bottom. If I kill the rpc.solved
- and start it in it's own window, I get "rpc.solved: RPC: Unknown host"
- from the solved when I start the search. I've tried all sorts of
- combinations of setting the SUNSOLVESERVER variable before running the
- server and changing the value of it in the helpdesk script, but nothing
- seems to change.
- Just for the record, I'm running 4.1.3 with NIS and DNS and I have patched
- resolver library so NIS uses DNS.

- Any pointers would be appreciated, even if it's just generic RPC suggestions.
