- I have noticed lately that some of our NFS clients seem to be
- able to mount the same filesystem over and over again, so that
- when you run "df" or "mount" they report several mounts of the same
- filesystem!
-
- IE after bootup client jericho shows
-
- tower:/home on /home type nfs (rw,soft,intr,bg)
-
- If I mess with fstab, and do a mount -a to update, I get
-
- tower:/home on /home type nfs (rw,soft,intr,bg)
- tower:/home on /home type nfs (rw,soft,intr,bg)
-
- Whats going on? df reports double mounted stuff as well. This never
- used to happen! Is it a real problem, or should I ignore it?
-
- client is a sparc 1, OS 4.1.1, servers are a 4/330 OS 4.1.3, and a
- sparc 2 OS 4.1.3
-
- Any clues are appreciated!
