- We have an account called 'field' which needs to run sundiag if needed.
- We set the setuid bit but still they cannot run that.
-
- They go to /usr/diag/sundiag and run the program, the response is:
- execlp(probe): No such file or directory
-
- Sundiag: Starting probing routine, please wait...
- Sundiag: failed probing system configuration!
-
-
-
- But 'probe' is in that directory and '.' is in the path.
-
- When I read the man pages for sundiag, it says I have to be root to run it.
-
- I like to know what can I set or do so maintenance people can run this
- program without being a root.
-
- Any suggetion will be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks
- Rafique
