-
- Not necessarily. This requires a clarification from Sun's legal beagles
- (or maybe legal bassets :-)).
-
- >Virtually all software developed for the Sun platform will incorporate the
- >Sun libraries, and will therefore come under this condition.
-
- Depends on which libraries are covered by the "to the extent applicable"
- clause. It may mean that it refers to all libraries, or it may mean
- only that it refers to libraries that are OPEN LOOK toolkits (e.g.,
- OLIT, or *maybe* XView, although given that at least one version of
- XView has been made freely-available in source form, it may not apply if
- you use *that* version of XView).
-
- >What does it mean by OPEN LOOK(R) compliant?
-
- It probably means "doesn't do anything that the OPEN LOOK Style Guide
- says it shouldn't do, and does everything that the OL Style Guide
- requires it to do."
-
- >How is this legally determined ?
-
- I think there may be a certification procedure that
- AT&T^H^H^H^HUSL^H^H^HNovell :-) offers.
