  13. I recall reading something about Sun sweetening the pot for their delayed Sparc 10's; specifically,
  14. they were going to ship 2-processor versions to those who purchased model 41's.

  16. We've ordered several 41's and a 54 server.  Sun Canada now tells us that the 41's won't be shipping
  17. till March and the 54 will be even later.  Originally we were promised the 41 in September and 
  18. the 54 by March.  In the mean time, we've received sparc-2's with the understanding that they 
  19. would be swapped for the new machines when ready.  Moreover, we wouldn't have gone with sun if we were
  20. going to be without any machines for the better part of a year.

  22. When I spoke with my rep. at sun about the 2-processor deal, he told me that this applied only to 
  23. people who had never received any machine.  Is this correct?  If so, it stinks!
