- On a 4D/480 running IRIX 4.05, we have a couple of rlogind's
- gone wild, using up 2 cpus, that will not be killed or
- reniced:
-
- user pid pgrp %cpu proc pri size rss time command
- sysadm 10580 10580 99.4 4 100 65 3 5736:14 rlogind
- sysadm 10528 10528 99.4 3 100 65 3 5741:43 rlogind
-
- These two processes went awry when a remote user ended the
- rlogins by quitting the windows, on his Indigo, in which
- they were running.
-
- Can I banish this processes, short of rebooting?
- Is there a fix to prevent this behavior?
-
- Please send replies to my email below. Thanks.
