- Having fun getting this one out. Sorry if this appears more than once.
-
- What is the DNSMIM?
-
- The DNSMIM is a board built by SGI for Cabletron Systems. The board is
- a Media Interface Module (MIM) which slides into Cabletron's Multi-
- Media Access Center (MMAC).
-
- Hardware wise it is functionally the same as an IRIS Indigo R3000, but
- the DNSMIM lacks audio and video support. The DNSMIM does support X11
- terminals or a locally attached VT100 terminal.
-
- The OS is a full compliment of IRIX 4.0.1. A minor modification was made
- to the kernal to allow for shutdown and startup from the ON-OFF switch.
-
- Anyone asking questions about the software is basically asking about
- an IRIS Indigo running IRIX 4.0.1.
-
- I hope this group will accept any questions which appear about this
- product.

- >logging in via telnet.
-
- With regards to your question, I do not have an answer, but now that
- everyone knows what the DNSMIM is, maybe someone can give you an answer.
