  14. I configured a modem to be available for both dial in/out.

  16. If I kill the connection by just interrupting the line on the client side who
  17. dialed in to the indigo, the connection breaks but the process of the 
  18. client does not. This causes the console to throw out a dozen 
  19. bufcall: could not allocate stream event
  20. messages, and then, hundreds of 
  21. select: Resource temporarily unavailable
  22. messages which go away only if I kill the residual process. This means 
  23. that the poor indigo slows down so much that normal editing is a pain if 
  24. the problem occurs.

  27. The gettydefs file reads:

  35. i.e., I do a modem reset (Z), a baud rate setting (&B1), and set the answer 
  36. after the 4th ring (S0=4). Then I wait for the conn:

  40. The modem connects fine, and has very good throughput, in 14400 bps with 
  41. error correction and compression. the 38400 bps to ttyf2 are there because 
  42. in the end I intend to run SLIP on it.
