  19. xv-2.21 is in the X11 contrib area on export.lcs.mit.edu (and
  20. presumably its mirror sites) and compiles cleanly on the IRIS (just
  21. use xmkmf). The latest version reads GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PBM and others.
  22. It only displays 8bit colormap, though.
