  12.   I think I posted this question a while ago, but I didn't have
  13. all the information.  Well, now I do.
  14.  
  15.   I want to run a shutdown process whenever my UPS system signals 
  16. the computer.  It uses the serial port to signal a shutdown request.
  17. It uses DTYPE "9" (whatever that means).  When there is a blackout
  18. it (shorts out I guess) pins 2, 4.  And pins 4,5: 5 minutes before
  19. the battery runs out.

  21. If anyone knows how to handle this, please let me know.
