  17.    Perhaps someone can point us in the right direction. We currently use 
  18.    a large (but often sluggish) central campus-wide machine to read our
  19.    news, but do everything else on our Indigo-farm.

  21.    I snagged xrn, trn, etc., but it appeared that I would need a groomed
  22.    news feed from "big brother." The main machine is too loaded to send 
  23.    us a news feed (i.e. NNTPSERVER), so we must go-it-alone. The central
  24.    machine did offer to send us a raw news feed (which I suppose everyone
  25.    can get w/o hassle).

  27.    My question is: 
  28.      Q.) What is needed to bring a raw news feed into a small Indigo farm? 
  29.      NNTPD? Anything else? Are terrabyte disk farms a must?

  31.    Any tips/experience/the like will be most appreciated.
