  24.         DYNIX/ptx 1.4 is a Sequent-only release running on Sequent
  25. Symmetry 2000 systems. The "PTX 1.3.1" which Pete mentions is a
  26. Unisys version of DYNIX/ptx 1.3 from Sequent with Unisys drivers added
  27. to it to support Unisys specific peripherals and comms products. The
  28. Unisys version of PTX 1.3.1 also has support for a few of the new
  29. peripherals which Sequent added in DYNIX/ptx 1.4 (FDDI & 3480 tape devices).

  31.         The most current version of DYNIX/ptx is 2.0 which has been
  32. shipping for the last 3 weeks with new features beyond what is available
  33. in either PTX 1.3.1 or DYNIX/ptx 1.4. DYNIX/ptx 2.0 is only available
  34. from Sequent for Sequent Symmetry systems ...
